Benjamin Strick is a digital investigator with a background in law, investigative journalism, and the military. He specialises in open-source intelligence (OSINT), information warfare, and data-driven investigations.

He has led teams as the Director of Investigations at CIR to support journalism, civil society, governments, and accountability mechanisms, with a strong focus on Ukraine, Myanmar, Sudan, Gaza and Libya.
Ben has applied these skills to document human rights abuses, war crimes, and influence operations worldwide, collaborating with international media on multi-award-winning investigative documentaries. He shares his passion for OSINT through free tutorials on YouTube to democratise these skills.
Ben was previously a digital investigator with BBC Africa Eye, is a Bellingcat contributor and co-founder of Ocelli Project. In 2021 he was awarded Open Source Intelligence Champion of the Year for investment, commitment and contribution to the field.
