KCA University reaffirmed its position as one of Kenya’s fastest-growing hubs of academic excellence and industry-ready graduates during its 19th Graduation Ceremony, where 3,286 graduates were conferred with degrees, diplomas, and certificates across its four schools.

Held on November 28, 2025 under the theme, “Innovate, Elevate, Impact,” the ceremony brought together scholars, families, friends and industry partners in a vibrant celebration of achievement and possibility.

The graduating class reflected the breadth and relevance of KCA University’s programmes, with 1,213 graduates from the School of Business, 1,032 from the Professional and Technical Training Institute (PTTI), 750 from the School of Technology, and 291 from the School of Education, Arts and Social Sciences. This diverse mix of business, technical, technological, and social sciences graduates showcases the university’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded professionals equipped to drive Kenya’s socio-economic transformation.

Speaking during the event, the Vice-Chancellor and CEO, Prof Isaiah I.C. Wakindiki, celebrated the resilience and innovative spirit of the class of 2025, noting that they embodied the mind-set required to lead industries and impact communities in an increasingly dynamic world. His sentiments were echoed by FCPA Dr Martin Oduor-Otieno, CBS, the Chancellor of KCA University. FCPA Dr Oduor-Otieno encouraged the graduates to be bold in shaping the future, saying: “Innovation begins with a curious mind and a willingness to solve real problems. As you elevate professionally, remember to uplift others and make a meaningful impact wherever you go. Kenya and the world need leaders of integrity and purpose, and today, we proudly release such leaders.

The ceremony also cemented KCA University’s expanding global footprint, with representation from over 20 nationalities across East, West, and Southern Africa, adding to the rich multicultural fabric that has long been a defining feature of the institution. This aligns with the university’s history of evolving from a CPA training centre founded in 1989 to a modern, globally competitive university shaping innovators, leaders, and entrepreneurs.

As KCA University welcomes prospective students for the January 2026 intake, the institution continues to distinguish itself through its market-driven programmes that span Certificates, Diplomas, Bachelor’s Degrees, and Postgraduate studies in Business, Technology, Education, Arts, and Social Sciences, alongside highly sought-after professional and technical courses offered through PTTI.

The university remains committed to affordability and flexibility, offering competitive tuition fees, flexible payment options, evening and weekend classes, and online learning pathways that accommodate working professionals and young learners alike.

Beyond academics, KCA University prides itself on an environment that promotes inclusivity, innovation, and global citizenship. Its student community benefits from an accessible learning ecosystem, including technology-enabled classrooms, support services for students with disabilities, and a vibrant campus culture that encourages leadership, creativity, and community engagement. These values were evident during the 19th Graduation Ceremony as well, where inclusivity, diversity, and applied research were highlighted as core strengths that define student experience at the university.

The spirit of innovation continues to thrive through the annual Innovation Week, one of the university’s flagship events that bring together students, researchers, start-ups, industry leaders, and global partners. This event provides a platform for showcasing breakthrough ideas, fostering collaborations and accelerating solutions tailored for Africa’s development needs. The 2026 Innovation Week promises an even larger exhibition of student-driven prototypes, tech pitches, and industry dialogues that reflect the university’s position at the intersection of education, technology and enterprise.

Throughout the academic year, students also benefit from a rich calendar of activities, including sports tournaments, cultural events, entrepreneurship forums, career fairs, and research showcases. These interactive experiences shape holistic graduates who are not only academically competent but also confident, collaborative, and ready to thrive in diverse professional environments. This approach mirrors the university’s longstanding belief that education must extend beyond the classroom, nurturing both the intellect and character of every learner.

As KCA University advances its mission in 2026, it remains steadfast in delivering transformative education grounded in innovation, integrity, and global competitiveness. With over 33,000 students, a heritage of excellence, and a strategic vision that prioritises research, technology, partnerships, and industry relevance, KCA University continues to position itself as a preferred destination for students seeking credible qualifications, hands-on learning, and pathways to global opportunity.

The January 2026 intake is now open, inviting aspiring students to join a vibrant community of innovators, problem-solvers, and future leaders. Through its wide range of programmes, commitment to affordability, and dedication to empowering learners to elevate their careers and communities, KCA University stands ready to shape the next generation of transformational thinkers who will boldly innovate, confidently elevate, and meaningfully impact the world.
