Kenya Bureau of Standards (Kebs) has appointed Esther Ngari as acting Managing Director to replace Benard Njiraini suspended alongside five others over alleged release and sale of bad sugar.

The Kebs board also appointed  Bernard Nguyo as acting Director Quality Assurance and Inspection and Zachariah Lukorito (acting Director Standards Development and Trade) among other changes.
