Close relatives and friends of renowned Kalenjin artiste, the late Harmon Kipkurui Rono have recalled the musician's last moments.
Rono, who was popularly known as Kaboom, perished on Sunday night in a road accident along the Emining-Eldama Ravine road.
Rono, 26, died at about 7.30pm while on his way from Eldama Ravine from Mogotio trading centre where he was to have a meeting with his fans.
Family and friends have described the deceased as an outgoing person who was always ready to serve the community through his talent.

His cousin, Victor Cheruiyot, described the artiste as a humble, hardworking and responsible man who was a dedicated family man.
"He lived in Eldama Ravine because he runs a studio in the town but his heart was always at home in Londiani. He has been taking care of his mother and siblings after his father died in 2001," Mr Cheruiyot said.
His uncle, Robert Kimutai, said Rono was not drunk as alleged.
"I have seen him grow since the death of his father and he has been a good person. He was very active until the time of his death," he said.
Kaboom, who was born in Londiani, Kericho County, was the first born in a family of five. He lives behind his 23-year-old wife and a three-year-old son.
Mogotio Sub-County Police Commander Peter Isanda said police are yet to finalise investigations into the accident.
"Investigations are still at an early stage. For now, we cannot tell what the cause of the accident was but what I know is that the impact was huge," he said.
The wreckage of the car - a Probox - that hit the artiste and his motorcycle were taken to Mogotio Police Station while Rono's body is at Eldama Ravine Sub-County Hospital mortuary.
Mr Isanda said two occupants of the Probox sustained serious injuries and are being treated in Nakuru.
The family plans to bury the artiste on Saturday, at their home in Kapcheplanga, Londiani, Kericho County.
