Coffee societies audit ordered in Murang’a

A total system audit of all Coffee Co-operative Societies and Murang’a Farmers Co-operative Union is underway to determine what is ailing the coffee sub-sector in Murang’a County.

The system audit also aims at making sure that there is reduction of wastage, proper governance structures are put in place at the factory and society levels to guarantee that the farmer gains maximum benefits from his coffee.
