Mr Jimmy Angwenyi, the longest serving Member of Parliament in the National Assembly, has lost Kitutu Chache North parliamentary seat after garnering 8,260 votes; Japheth Nyakundi of United Democratic Alliance won with 11,834 votes.

Mr Geoffrey Asanyo of Orange Democratic Movement came third with 5, 609 votes. Mr Angwenyi had served for five terms.
