President William Ruto has reprimanded a contractor during a Wednesday site visit of the Kisii Cancer Centre.

He noted that construction works at the cancer centre were way behind schedule, adding that the contractor had already been issued with a warning.

"This is unacceptable. You will get a final warning...if you don't pull up your socks we will terminate the contract," President Ruto said.

"We agreed work should be done, but it's not happened."
