Survivors of Koru crash speak as death toll rises to five

What you need to know:

  • Muhoroni Sub-county police boss Fredrick Ombaka condemned residents for robbing the injured passengers.
  • The truck, which was ferrying diapers towards Kisumu, also had its contents looted by the rowdy crowd.

Inside one of the female wards at Saint Vincent de Paul Mission Hospital in Muhoroni, Olivia Atamba writhes in pain. 

Ms Atamba is one of the survivors of the Monday night road crash which has so far claimed five lives.
