Chaos erupted at Migori Stadium Monday as supporters of Governor Ochillo Ayacko and Uriri MP Mark Nyamita clashed after a football match between Migori Youth and Mofa.

Drama began immediately after Mr Nyamita stood up to go and meet the players as the patron of Migori Youth Football club, coming just after Governor Ayacko had finished addressing the players.

This prompted the police to use tear gas cannisters to separate the differing factions to no avail.

This comes a day after supporters of the two leaders clashed at a separate event in North Sakwa.
