High Court freezes 'Mr Moneybags' Analo's accounts

What you need to know:
- Analo has Sh10.3 million in Cooperative Bank, Sh1.6 million in Equity Bank and Sh2 million in KCB. His wife Damaris has Sh3 million in her KCB account.
- Cumulatively the couple has unexplained Sh16.9 million in funds, besides the Sh65 million that was recovered from their Syokimau home.
The High Court has frozen the bank accounts of former Nairobi County Government chief officer Patrick Analo Akivaga, in whose house anti-graft watchdog officers seized Sh65 million last week.
The orders freezing the accounts of Analo and his wife Damaris Sindavi Kayugira were issued following an application by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC). His spouse is employed by the Vihiga County Government.
