The Kenya Railways has introduced additional trains on the Nairobi to Athi River route.

The second train in the morning from Athi River station is scheduled to take off at 9.20am and to Athi River station from the city centre in the evening will be leaving at 7.30 pm.

The move is expected to ease traffic on Mombasa Road.
