In his Jamhuri Day speech, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has revealed that the county will be honouring artistes by renaming city roads after them.

For instance, he said, a road in South C estate will be named after rapper Issah Mmari Wangui, better known as E-Sir, who died in March 16, 2003 at the age of 21. 

The rapper, one of the most popular musical artistes at the time, hailed from South C estate.
