Molo Academy has been closed indefinitely for the third time in two months after the students demanded to go home.
Molo sub-county education officer Sylvester Musikoyo said the school was closed after the students refused to go to class on Wednesday December 1.
"After the morning assembly, the students refused to go to class and demanded to go home. We deployed a contingent of police officers at the school in order to prevent any damages," said Mr Musikoyo.
According to the education boss, preliminary investigations reveal that the students want the school management changed.
This incident comes barely four weeks after the students were sent home for damaging school property on November 1. Earlier, on September 6 the institution closed after students went on a rampage damaging property worth thousands of shillings.
Mr Musikoyo also mentioned that some of the grievances the students raised in the initial demonstrations included poor school diet and lack of water.
