  • Thousands have been left homeless and hundreds of thousands others are at risk of being displaced by flooding.
  • Residents are now living in fear after researchers said the situation may not get better any time soon.
  • According to WRA, it was in May 2020 that Lake Naivasha reached its highest level since 1932.
  • On the other hand, Lake Nakuru saw a significant rise of 77 per cent in the same period.
