What you need to know:

  • In the new 12-episode reality series that will be launched soon, Mutuma can barely look as his co-star, television presenter Martin Kimathi, slaughters the chicken.

If you have watched the trailer to Nick Mutuma’s latest production Ocha, you will definitely know that the actor is a pro on screen and quite the scared-cat when it comes to slaughtering chicken.

In the new 12-episode reality series that will be launched soon, Mutuma can barely look as his co-star, television presenter Martin Kimathi, slaughters the chicken.

The show is about Nick and Martin going back to their roots to build up a coffee farm from scratch in Meru County.

The actor confirmed that he has “never slaughtered a chicken,” but defended himself saying: “Mi ni mtu wa ocha; I’m always going back home to undertake projects that empower my people. Like last year I was involved in the fight against drug and alcohol abuse in Meru County, and this year in the Ameru festival,” he said.
