Fashion that is a bridge between ancestral memory and contemporary expression

Style by Siankiki was founded in 2022 by visionary designer Nasieku Winnie Lenaimado. “Siankiki” in Maasai means the “Blessed One” and the brand was founded as a bridge between ancestral memory and contemporary expression.
Rooted in the rich traditions of the Samburu people, the brand is not merely fashion, it is a cultural storytelling in motion. Every silhouette carries echoes of beadwork, ceremony, and identity, reimagined for the modern world without losing its soul. The result is a collection that feels regal, timeless, and deeply connected to heritage.
Styling Samburu-inspired pieces with intention
1. Choose your centerpiece – A beaded collar, intricate belt, or cape can stand alone as the narrative of your outfit. Allow one piece to tell the story.
2. Keep the base neutral – Earth tones, black, or white garments provide a respectful canvas, ensuring traditional artistry remains the focus.
3. Balance tradition and modernity – Sleek hairstyles or clean lines in clothing frame beadwork with reverence, allowing the craftsmanship to shine.
4. Wear with consciousness – These are not just accessories; they are cultural symbols. Honour their meaning, and if you wear them outside their community, share their story with care and intention.
