‘Stella’ set for night in Machakos

  • But it is not just Kenyans that got excited about Stella’s “return”. Everybody now wants a piece of “Stella”.
  • The government too, has come calling. Freshley was on Thursday evening invited to perform during the 2017 Madaraka Day celebrations to be held in Nyeri town.
  • “I am honoured to have been invited to perform my favourite song during the national day,” he said. 

Buoyed by the popularity of the evergreen song “Stella” that excited fans on May 17, Freshley Mwamburi (Stella’s jilted lover) and his Everest Kings band will on Friday evening host “Stella Night” in Machakos town.

The group, led by Abdul Muyonga, will perform on Friday and Saturday night at Club Kikao(Kenya Israel) along the Machakos-Nairobi highway.
