DJ Marto Sibuor to thrill Rhumba fans in Kisumu

- In Nairobi, DJ Marto hosts Sibuor Fridays at the Villa Park Lounge and Grill Lounge on Tom Mboya Street.
- Next Saturday, the Ballpoint Social Club at Village Market in Nairobi will be the venue of Back to Rock January edition.
The Drip Lounge (formerly Pitstop) in Kisumu will on Saturday night host the 'Sensational Saturday Rhumba' with DJ Marto Sibuor playing the best Rhumba music. He will be assisted by DJ Boneless and Evans Ngosi.
In Nairobi, DJ Marto hosts Sibuor Fridays at the Villa Park Lounge and Grill Lounge on Tom Mboya Street.
During the shows, DJ Marto is backed by DJ Jalloh alongside Don Tello. Every Tuesday he hosts Vasha Rhumba at the Levina Grills in Naivasha town.
Elsewhere, the Art and Soul Lounge, Ngong Hills Hotel will on Saturday host the show ‘Call Me Mbugua.’
Lined up for the show will be DJs Adams, Kareez, Shaky, Unique, Babs, Njogu, Ceda, Your Man Roy, Maurice, and Forest. Others will be Melodics Band alongside MCs Muz and Vanessa. The show starts at 2pm until late.
Rhumba Meets Kalenjin show
Next Saturday, the Ballpoint Social Club at Village Market in Nairobi will be the venue of Back to Rock January edition.
Revellers will be entertained by the Rash Band. The show starts at 6pm and ends at midnight.
On Sunday in Bomet, Sheba Kulture will be the venue of Rhumba Meets Kalenjin show. Revellers will be entertained by Radio Maisha presenter Titi Nagwalla alongside DJ Simba.

There will also be a watch party for the English Premier League match between Arsenal and Manchester United from 7:30pm at the same venue. Thereafter, revelers will be treated to nonstop Rhumba music.
Meanwhile, arrangements are underway for next month’s The Afro State show featuring visiting international producer and DJ Monaco Laureen.
The show is scheduled for February 28, 2026 at the Club Koda, Westlands in Nairobi.
According to the organisers, the show dubbed ‘The Afro State 2.0 Boiler Room Experience’ will be more of a cultural affair than a party.
Whizmarion Collection Show
It will be a day of the best of Amapiano and Afrohouse with DJ Monaco. Already some advance tickets for the event have been sold out with more expected to be available.
Monaco has excelled as an international DJ and music producer blending Amapiano, Afrohouse and Afrobeats. His visit will go a long way in promoting the interest of music fans in club music.
Elsewhere, a special fashion event dubbed the ‘Whizmarion Collection Show’ will be held on Saturday (today) at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi.
The event will showcase professionally trained models with a focus on designs and performance.
Entrance is Sh1,500 (regular) and Sh3,000 (VIP) for the show that starts at 5pm. In Mombasa the Banamitie Band is on stage every Thursday at the Office in Likoni.
