Zimbabwean tycoon Wicknell Chivayo and wife Lucy Muteke among six killed in helicopter crash in Marondera, family Spokesperson Herbert Chivayo confirms.
Police had earlier said an aircraft carrying six people crashed in the area at around 5 pm local time (1500 GMT) and that emergency services were attending the scene.
Police spokesperson Paul Nyathi said that the bodies were badly burned and authorities needed to formally identify the victims.
Zimbabwean entrepreneur and regional investor the late Wicknell Chivayo when he paid a distinguished courtesy call on President William Ruto. He died on a Wednesday evening in a chopper crash in Marondera, Zimbabwe.
