Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki yesterday took responsibility for the inordinate delays in passport issuing, as he announced a new crackdown on “cartels” at Nyayo House.
Prof Kindiki said the latest approach to resolve the issue involves a commitment by the government to settle dues owed to suppliers.
