She said she will ensure that healthcare workers don't go back to the streets again.
Health Cabinet Secretary nominee Deborah Barasa has promised to implement the return-to-work formula signed between the doctors' union and the government which ended the recent 56-day strike in May.
Dr Barasa told the National Assembly committee on appointments that she will work closely with the National Treasury to ensure that the deal is implemented so that healthcare workers don't go back to the streets again.
