Sunkuli brothers in a fight to succeed Tunai as Narok governor

What you need to know:

  • Last week, some 200 elders from across Narok “endorsed” Devolution Principal Secretary Charles Sunkuli for the seat.
  • His brother Andrew also wants to succeed Governor Samuel Tunai, with his supporters dismissing the endorsement of the PS by elders.

A battle of titans is brewing in Narok ahead of 2022 after two brothers from the Sunkuli family declared interest in the governor position.

Last week, some 200 elders from across Narok “endorsed” Devolution Principal Secretary Charles Sunkuli for the seat.
