The One Kenya Alliance (OKA) is heading in the right direction if the support they are getting from across the country is anything to go by, Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang’ula — one of the OKA principals — has said, adding that the alliance will recover the lost years and develop Kenya again once in power.

“OKA will win the 2022 presidency. Our strategies are good and we will surprise many people,” he said

The Ford Kenya leader stated that as OKA leaders, they have good plans for the country which they will only achieve once they ascend to power in 2022.

Speaking in Bumula Constituency, Bungoma County at the weekend during the burial of Khasoko Ward MCA Daniel Makhandia, Mr Wetang’ula called on the Luhya community to support OKA so that it achieves its presidential ambition.

He pleaded with Kenyans to support and elect OKA leaders, adding that they have what it takes to lead them.

“For us to convince outsiders, we need your support first. We are your sons and daughters; there is no need of clapping for outsiders when we have announced our intentions to go for the big seat,” he said.

The Bungoma senator said that as OKA, they will continue campaigning in every corner of this country selling, their manifestos which will propel them to power.

“I am pleading with my people — support us. I may be ugly but I remain one of you. We are dancing to our own tune; please support us ascend to power,” said Mr Wetang’ula.

OKA comprises of Musalia Mudavadi of Amani National Congress, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi of Kanu and Cyrus Jirongo.
