Ruto appoints Ruku, Hanna Cheptumo as Cabinet secretaries

President William Ruto has appointed Ms Hanna Wendot Cheptumo and Mr Geoffrey Ruku as Gender and Public Service Cabinet secretaries respectively with effect from April 17, 2025.
The Head of State has also appointed Dr Jane Kere Imbunya, Ms Regina Akoth Ombam, Mr Cyrell Odede Wagunda, Dr Caroline Wanjiru Karugu, Dr Fredrick Ouma Oluga, Mr Ahmed Abdisalan Ibrahim, Ms Judith Pareno, Mr Bonface Barasa Makokha, Prof Shaukat Ali Abdulrazak, Mr Stepneh Isaboke, Mr Michael Lanasalon, Mr Fikirini Jacobs, Ms Carren Agengo and Mr Aden Abdi Millah as Principal secretaries.
