A senior political leader placed a wrong call to one of the senior government officials and talked for about 30 minutes without realising. The leader intended to call a lawyer who is his old friend but ended up calling another person who has the same name but is working in the current government. Apparently, it appears the political leader did not differentiate the numbers when saving them causing confusion. In another instance, a leader called one of the newsrooms ranting about why they reported that they had appeared together with the man in one of the functions.

Disquiet among staff over CS’s order
The vigour in which a CS has been conducting the affairs of a certain critical ministry is causing disquiet among senior staff. The man is said to have ordered that no communication should be made at the ministry without his authorisation, whether is out of the country or within. He has also by-passed the in-house communication department at the ministry and issued an order that all communications will be handled by the team he moved in with when the reshuffle was done. Senior officers in the ministry have however warned that the man will soon realise the ministry has its owners and he will be taught how things ought to be done.
