In a letter to Registrar of the Court of Appeal, Mr Tuju through his lawyer, said the amount had been deposited in a joint-interest earning account.
Last month, the Court of Appeal directed Mr Tuju to deposit the amount within 30 days failure to which the order will lapse and the bank was free to auction the property.
