Police have arrested a man on suspicion of killing a GSU police officer manning State House in Nairobi, Kilimani Sub-County Police Commander Patricia Yegon has confirmed.

Kinyuka Kimunyi, a man suspected of killing a GSU officer, is help on October 13, 2025 at Kilimani Police Station.

The man allegedly killed the officer using an arrow outside Gate D on Monday morning.

According to witnesses, the assailant, a 56-year-old man, posed as a street dweller while carrying a sack that concealed the weapon.

He was first held at Kilimani police station before being taken to Kenyatta Hospital.
