Iran will hit back "strongly and without restraint" if the US joins Israel in war

- Iran has officially warned the United States that it will react "firmly" if Washington becomes directly involved in Israel's military campaign against the Islamic Republic.
- Iran's UN ambassador in Geneva stated that the US is already seen as "complicit" in Israel's actions.
- The warning comes as Israel continues its largest-ever air war against Iran, launched last Friday over claims Iran was close to developing a nuclear weapon (which Iran denies).
Iran said it had conveyed to Washington that it will respond firmly to the United States if it becomes directly involved in Israel's military campaign, the Iranian ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva said on Wednesday.
Ali Bahreini, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in Geneva, told reporters that he saw the U.S. as "complicit in what Israel is doing."
