Kenya pip Tunisia to advance to final round of 2026 Wafcon qualifiers

Tereza Engesha's first half strike was enough to hand Harambee Starlets victory in the return leg which saw the hosts miss two penalties either side of halftime.
The two sides had drawn 0-0 in the first leg played last Friday at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
Striker Tereza Engesha’s sixth-minute goal was enough to send Kenya’s Harambee Starlets to the second and final round of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon) qualifiers after a 1-0 second leg victory over Tunisia at the Sousse Olympic Stadium on Wednesday.
The win came after a 0-0 draw in the first leg at Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi last Friday. Starlets will face Gambia, who advanced by defeating Niger 4-1 on aggregate, winning 2-1 and 2-0 in their respective legs.
