Kenya are preparing for their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final qualifying round against Gambia. The first leg will be played in Nairobi on October 20th with the return leg on October 28.

The Harambee Starlets advanced to the final round of qualifiers by defeating Uganda 5-0 on aggregate, winning the first leg 2-0 on March 8 at Nakivubo Hamz Stadium, Kampala, and the second leg 3-0 on March 15 at Nyayo Stadium,  Nairobi.

"These friendly matches will boost match fitness, allow us to assess our team's form now, and get the confidence for the Cameroon match," said U-17 coach Mildred Cheche on Tuesday after their final training session at Moi International Sports Centre.

“Morocco are a technically and tactically strong team that excel at possession, providing a valuable test. We need to prepare our defence to contain their strikers and prepare our strikers effectively to score,” said Cheche.
