“It gives me immense pride and joy to welcome everyone to this year’s Chairman’s Prize Golf Tournament. This event is not only a celebration of the sport we love, but also a reflection of the remarkable journey our club has undertaken over the past two years under my chairmanship,” Mr Mwangi said.
“Together, we have achieved significant milestones—strengthening our membership, improving our facilities, and fostering a spirit of camaraderie and excellence that defines who we are today. None of this would have been possible without the invaluable dedication and service of my committee, whose tireless efforts have been the backbone of our progress.”
“Beyond the fairways and greens, this tournament has a deeper purpose. We are proud to dedicate this event to raising awareness about autism and supporting the St. Thorlak Tumaini Autism Centre in Nanyuki,” he said.
“By combining sports with service, we affirm our commitment to making a positive impact in our community. Golf has always been about discipline, patience, and inclusivity—values that deeply resonate with our mission of supporting children and families affected by autism,” Mwangi said.
“As we tee off, let us celebrate the spirit of competition and the spirit of giving. May this event remind us that every swing, every putt, and every shared moment contributes to something greater.”
