Mvurya: Talanta City Stadium construction work is on schedule

What you need to know:

  • Kenya is racing against time to complete its sporting infrastructure so as to host CHAN 2024 in August and Afcon 202.
  • It will host the continental competitions together with her neighbours Uganda and Tanzania which are miles ahead in terms of good sporting facilities.

Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya Thursday led journalists in a rare inspection of construction work at Talanta Sports City Stadium in Nairobi.

At the same time, Mvurya has urged local football fans to track the pace of work at the 60,000-seater facility, and to question any delays.
