Ivine Cheche Chepkoech was preparing supper for her family at her grandmother’s house when she was attacked by a man believed to be a jilted lover.
The 17-year-old was hit on the back of the head with a blunt object by a man believed to be her ex-boyfriend. She lost consciousness.
