As a critical government-in-waiting, the opposition is expected not only to find fault and highlight the shortcomings in the incumbent administration, but also to demonstrate its own commitment to the country by offering useful alternative ideas for national development and prosperity.
The coalition dubbed United Alternative Government has rejected the proposed Sh4.8 trillion national Budget. Instead, it has unveiled what it terms the ‘People’s Budget’ of Sh4.3 trillion designed to ease the burden on taxpayers.
