The parents of Dickson Bogonko, a blogger who went missing almost six months ago, are now appealing to Kenyans to help them find their son.

According to Mr David Bosire and his wife Esther in Nakuru, their son has not communicated with any of his friends or siblings since September last year.

They told told Nation.co.ke that he last updated his official Facebook page on September 17.

Mr Bogonko is renowned for his website Jackal News that enjoys a following of 19,435 people.

WESTGATE TERROR ATTACK

“He always assured us that he was safe and when we could not reach him on his phone after the Westgate terror attack, we got worried.

“We reported the matter to the police but six months down the line nothing has been heard from him or about his whereabouts. We even put up radio advertisements in several stations but no information has been forthcoming,” the father said on Monday.

Mrs Bosire said she called her son during the Westgate Mall terror attack and was shocked to find his phone off.

She appealed to his friends to help trace her son.
