Ottichilo moves to court to stop planned impeachment by MCAs

  • He has listed County Speaker Hasna Mudeizi, the county assembly and Assembly Clerk Ambaka Kilinga as respondents.
  • The assembly clerk confirmed having received the court application.
  • The matter will be heard on March 5, 2020.

Vihiga Governor Wilber Ottichilo has filed an application at the Kakamega High Court seeking to stop his impending impeachment by MCAs.

He filed the notice through Maobe Mukhwana and Co Advocates.
