Kennedy Kimanthi is the Daily Nation News Editor. He is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience reporting across Kenya. He began his career in 2012 as a correspondent in Meru and Nyeri counties, eventually rising to senior correspondent. In 2019, he was appointed Regional Editor in charge of the Nyeri bureau, a position he held until 2022, when he was transferred to the Coast bureau in Mombasa and later to the South Rift bureau in Nakuru. He now oversees the Daily Nation newsroom as News Editor and covers devolution, governance and politics.
