Samidoh brings ‘Mugithi Night’ back to Nairobi

Mugithi fans in Nairobi will be treated to a special show featuring popular Mugithi musician Samidoh next Friday at the Bali’s Best Resort, Galleria Mall on Karen-Magadi Road.
For Samidoh’s fans, this will be a refreshing return to live performances in the build up to Valentine’s Day activities later next month.
Among Samidoh’s most popular songs are Kairitu Gakwa, Murata wa Ngai and Urumwe Mbere. The show starts at 5pm until late.
Meanwhile, the Trademark Hotel on Limuru Road will on Sunday host ‘The Sunday Braai Show’. The event dubbed ‘Where South and West African Food Meet’, will be an opportunity for revelers to sample the best of African dishes from South and West Africa. The event starts at noon. Entrance is Sh2,500.
Rhumba Party
Next Saturday, Benelix Lounge at Greenspan Mall in Donholm estate will host ‘The Fathers and Sons Rhumba Party.’
The event to be hosted by VDJ Numz is expected to feature the best of rhumba music from some of the leading Congolese artistes such as Koffi Olomide, Fally Ipupa, Ferre Gola among others. Entrance will be Sh350 (advance) and Sh500 at the gate. The show starts at noon.
Meanwhile, Ballpoint Social Club at Village Market in Nairobi will today (Saturday) host the ‘Back to Rock’ January edition. Revellers will be entertained by the Rash Band. The show starts at 6pm and ends at midnight.
The Kenya National Library Service in Nairobi will this afternoon (Saturday) host the launch of the book Escort-In-Chief by Dr Bundi Karau. The event starts at 2pm and ends at 5pm.
Elsewhere the Lava Latte on State House Road in Nairobi will today (Saturday) host the Kickz and Barb show dubbed ‘Celebrating Kitu Sewer.’ The event feature the screening of Mzuka hip hop film by Nyakundi Isaboke, will start at 10am and end at 6pm.
Nairobi Fashion Week
The Nairobi Fashion Week Season 3 will also be held today (Saturday) at the Sarit Expo Centre in Westlands. The event starts at 6pm and ends at 9:45pm.
At the same time, US-based Pastor Pat King of Judah Ministries is set to host the Night Fest on February 27 at the Nairobi Cinema Hall.
Pastor King is known for songs such as Afrika Yote Yakusifu, Praise Him in an African Way, Taste and See and many others.
The event will be an opportunity for worshippers to engage with Pastor King in high praise, deep worship and life-changing divine fellowship.
The event will also feature some of Pastor King’ new songs like Mabawa, Higher Place, My Soul, and Hakuna. The event will start at 5:30pm and end at 9pm. Entrance will be free.
