From ‘takataka’ to sorry: Kibra MP apologises for road rage incident involving Larry Madowo

Mr Orero admitted to his driver violating traffic rules and expressed regret over the incident.
The driver, George Oduor, was earlier charged with dangerous driving and fined Sh100,000.
Kibra Member of Parliament Peter Orero has publicly apologised after a video went viral showing him and his driver driving on the wrong side of the road.
The footage, recorded by journalist Larry Madowo on October 9, 2025 along Oloitoktok Road in Nairobi, showed the MP’s vehicle dangerously overtaking other cars and obstructing traffic flow. The video also captured the MP and his driver responding rudely to the journalist.
