Tuju skips court, admitted to Karen Hospital

Former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju failed to attend court today for plea taking.
His lawyers, led by Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, said he could not come as he was admitted to Karen Hospital.
They then requested that plea taking to be deferred to a later date.
DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and lawyer Ndegwa Njiru arrive at the Kibera law courts ahead of the former CS, Raphael Tuju's, arraignment in court.
Earlier, his lawyer Gregory Ndege had alleged that his health condition deteriorated while in custody following an injury sustained during arrest.
