Fifa President Infantino, CAF boss Motsepe and Madagascar president to attend Chan final

Fifa President Gianni Infantino is among the dignitaries who will attend Saturday’s final match of the 2024 African Nations Championship (Chan) at the Moi International Sports Centre (MISC), Kasarani in Nairobi.
Two-time champions Morocco, and Madagascar will face off in the final at MISC, Kasarani, starting from 6pm.
The final match will be preceded by entertainment from 2pm.
Speaking to journalists at the Stadion Hotel at Kasarani in Nairobi on Saturday, Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya said Fifa President Infantino, Madagascar President Andry Nirina Rajoelina, and Caf President Patrick Motsepe will attend the closing ceremony.
"We expect high-level government officials from the three ‘Pamoja’ countries. It promises to be a memorable day. We thank all Kenyans for their contribution to the tournament's success," Mvurya stated.
"Ticket holders are advised to arrive at the stadium by 2 pm. I want to assure Kenyans that preparations for the final match are complete, and that all necessary arrangements have been made," Mvurya noted.
"The tournament has attracted the continent's interest."
He also advised fans without tickets to watch the match from five fan zones at Lucky Summer, Archives (Nairobi CBD), Kibera DC Grounds, and at Githurai. The fan zones in Nairobi have been reduced to five from the initial 13.
Mvurya assured Kenyans that security and logistical arrangements at Kasarani Stadium were complete, and that the closing ceremony would begin there at 2 pm with lots of entertainment. Pre-match activities will start at 5 pm.
The final will be graced by top African musicians from the three host nations – Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. These include producer and songwriter Savara Mudigi (Kenya), better known as Savara; Ugandan Eddy Kenzo, the hitmaker behind 'Sitya Loss'; and Tanzanian Bongo flava singer Zuhura Othman Soud, better known by her stage name Zuchu.
