FKF-PL: Bandari pile more misery on holders Gor Mahia

Chaos again erupted for the third consecutive Football Kenya Federation Premier League match involving Gor Mahia as their fans displayed their anger against the coach and the team’s performance on Wednesay.
This time it was K’Ogalo’s away game against Bandari at Ukunda Show Ground in Kwake County.
Play was stopped in the 80th minute for half an hour as Gor fans started throwing stones forcing police to intervene.
The fans were eventually ejected before the game resumed to its logical conclusion with Bandari 2-0 victors.
At Police Sacco Stadium in South C, Nairobi, underdogs Sofapaka held 10-man Kenya Police to a 1-1 draw.
Gor Mahia coach Leonardo Neiva was on the receiving end of fans disgruntlement in Ukunda.
Bandari showed scant respect to the record Kenyan champions with two strikes in the second half via experienced defender Geoffrey Ojunga and teen sensation forward Beja Nyamawi.
The game started at a fast pace with the home team raiding their opponents danger area with intent.
Bandari almost took the lead two minutes, Ojunga’s free kick from the edge of the box brilliantly saved by Gor goalkeeper Caleb Otieno.

Chaos however eurpted after the goal as incenses Gor Mahia fans started throwing stones as they vented their anger over what they felt was underperformance from their Brazilian coach.
Last Saturday, Neiva, 46 was assaulted by fans following a 2-2 draw against Muranga’a Seal at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
He had to be rescued by security officers and later demanded that the club attach police to his security.
Last Wednesday, Neiva was saved by the police when Gor fans attempted to assault him after their 2-1 loss to lowly Nairobi City Stars.
