Gor Mahia midfielder Enock Morrison has been crowned the 2025/26 SportPesa League Most Valuable Player.
It was a double joy for the 26-year-old Ghanaian as he was also named the midfielder of the season at a gala ceremony at Glee Hotel in Nairobi.
The event was attended by several dignitaries including Football Kenya Federation president Hussein Mohammed.
In the race for the coveted best player of the league, Morrison saw off a stiff competition from the season’s top scorer and Murang’a Seal’s striker Joseph Waithira and Mara Sugar’s defender Jimmy Owili. Owili was crowned the defender of the season.

Morrison joined Gor in July last year on a two-year contract. He was instrumental in Gor’s triumph this season, excelling both in the midfielder and as a leader on the pitch.
Waithira, who won the Golden Boot awards, also clinched the Players’ player of the season award.
