South Africa emerged overall winners of the 2026 African Road Cycling Championships as hosts Kenya picked up lessons at the event, which concluded in Kisumu yesterday.

South Africa collected 13 medals: five gold, five silver and three bronze to top the standings in the five-day championship, improving on their performance at last year’s edition held in Kwale.
