France fetes businessman Kirubi

What you need to know:

  • Mr Kirubi will receive the Honour from Remi Maréchaux, Ambassador of France to Kenya at the Residence of France.
  • The businessman is also involved in the development of culture as he is also a board member of the Alliance Française of Nairobi.
  • The Legion of Honour, in full, the National Order of the Legion of Honour (in French, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur) is a French Order established by Napoléon Bonaparte in May 1802.

Businessman Chris Kirubi will on Friday be feted with France's Legion of Honor award.

The award is in recognition of his life time contribution towards youths’ empowerment and development as well as his commitment to economic and cultural rapprochement between Kenya and France.
