Facebook posts land Kitui blogger in trouble

  • The arrest came just a day after he was served with court orders gagging him.
  • He was preparing to challenge the court orders restraining him “from posting offensive statements” on Kitui South MP Rachael Nyamai on Facebook.
  • Lawyer Kamunda Njue accused the police of being used by the MP to harass his client.
  • He vowed to challenge the gag order against Mr Kasina.

A blogger sued by a Kitui MP for defamation was Tuesday arrested and locked up in a police cell in Nairobi.

The arrest came just a day after he was served with court orders gagging him.
