Policeman shoots girlfriend and GSU inspector dead then kills himself in Meru

Constable Joseph Kipngetich Cheruiyot based at Laare Police Station had picked a Ceska pistol, serial number 2783, for official duties at around 11.15pm Sunday night.
He, however, went to Club Tenax and Restaurant in Mutuati market, about 6 kilometres from the police station.
The club’s owner, Mr Lazaro Ngolo, told police that the officer just walked in and shot the two without saying a word.
A Kenya Police Service officer on Sunday evening shot and killed his colleague and a General Service Unit officer before killing himself at a bar in Kinisa Market in Igembe North, Meru County.
The GSU officer, who is a chief inspector, and the female officer were drinking at the bar when the enraged officer shot at them, killing them instantly before turning the gun on himself.
