Tatuu and Ulopa in love

The music group Tatuu.

Girl group trio Tatuu is making a comeback with a collaboration hit track with vocalist and producer Ulopa aka Ulops.

The track is titled “Come back to me’’ and takes on a kapuka quadruple beat with excellent track sound and a great blend of instruments.

It takes off in a deep, closed-lip hum as a feminine solo comes in, “Aleieh ioh, aleieh iyoh aleieh iyoh”. This is repeated a second time in great harmony by the whole group.

A second solo picks up in a steady rendition. Consider: “Another day and my mind wanders to you, all the things we do, together constantly I feel you next to me even when you are gone”.

This receives great background backup in harmonic humming as Ulopa creates a canonic imitation effect in the solo.

He takes his lines comfortably and with very refined vocals: “Kukuwaza kila siku, nakutaka uwe karibu nangu mami, umbali kanikosea...all I wanna do is think of you”. All that as Tatuu harmonises.

The climax takes on a repetition of “Come back to me” amidst pedal humming and the initial intro humming “aleieh iyoh” as it fades off.

This is a great collaboration, the Lab welcomes Tatuu back into the music industry!
