Johnny Junior to thrill Rhumba fans in Nairobi at Vibanda Village

Vibanda Village on third Avenue off Ngong Road in Nairobi will on Saturday night host a major rhumba show dubbed Rhumba Plan with Johnny Junior.
Thereafter, backed by BV Band, Johnny Junior will stage another show on Sunday afternoon at Benelix Lounge in Nairobi’s Donholm estate. Next Friday Johnny Junior will perform at the Wapek Delicacies on Mama Ngina Street in Nairobi.
In Mombasa, Banamitie Band performs every Wednesday, from 5pm, at Apollo Club Choma Zone on Airport Road.
Elsewhere the Amitie Musica Band led by Crispen Tambwe performs on Fridays and Sundays at Egesa Villa at Nairobi’s Umoja estate.
Rhumba fans in Nairobi can catch up with Bilenge Musica International Band led by Lesasa Jocker every Tuesday at Ignite Bistro at Buruburu shopping centre.
The band also performs Kuche Kuche, Nyayo Stadium every Saturday and at Pitstop Grill on Langata Road on Sundays.
Meanwhile, Gembe Resort at Lwanda Centre in Mbita, Homa Bay County will this weekend host a variety show with plenty of drinks, food and music.
At the same time, Gem Forest MGallert Hotel Collection on Limuru Road will on Saturday host the Eco Fashion Week Africa Season 3. The event will showcase upcycled African fashion featuring 12 eco-conscious fashion brands.
Other activities lined up for the day include modelling and an expert panel discussion on fashion. Entry for the show that starts at 5pm is Sh2,500 (advance) and Sh3,500 at the gate.
Elsewhere, Ballpoint Social Club at Village Market in Gigiri will next Friday host Ballpoint Karaoke Night. It will be free entry and a free tequila shot for every singer. The will stat at 7pm with Nessa and DJ Hassan as the hosts.
The same venue will host the Village Market Junior Chess Workshop November edition next Saturday. The event will begin at 10am.
In Kilfi County, Club Legend 2.0 in Mtwapa hosts Bango Nights every Wednesday featuring performances by Jimmy Ngala backed by Asili Band.
The same venue hosts Rhumba Mature every Friday from 7pm with Ricky Mulolo and Idologia Musica band.
In Machakos, the Machakos Peoples Park will next Saturday host the RX- Fest November 2025 Edition. Entry is Sh500 (single day pass) and Sh750 (weekend pass) for the event that starts at 7am.
