Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka addresses a rally organised by the United Opposition in Masii, Machakos County.
United Opposition leaders have hinted at fronting Wiper Patriotic Front Kalonzo Musyoka as their presidential flag bearer in the 2027 General Election.
The leaders who accompanied Mr Musyoka in a series of campaign rallies in Machakos and Kitui counties said the Wiper party leader was their best bet to defeat President William Ruto at the ballot.

The hint was dropped by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and former Attorney-General Justin Muturi, who said the opposition coalition had settled on Mr Musyoka as its leader.
Both Mr Gachagua, the DCP party leader, and Mr Muturi of the Democratic Party fell short of publicly endorsing Mr Musyoka as the man to face off with President Ruto in the next elections.
Before a charged crowd in Mr Musyoka's home county of Kitui, Mr Gachagua declared the opposition was enjoying the tyranny of numbers, fed up with Kenya Kwanza administration's failed economic policies and wanton corruption.
"It is no longer about guesswork. We already have the vote numbers and the candidate. We are only waiting for the day," Mr Gachagua told a mammoth rally at Kalundu market in Kitui town.
"Strong integrity"
The former Deputy President who was forced out of office through an impeachment motion heaped praises on Mr Musyoka, with the other leaders taking cue in espousing his leadership credentials and political experience.
"The moment for a leader from the Kamba community to lead this country is now. Your son Kalonzo has been mistreated politically for many years by ODM party leader Raila Odinga but remained steadfast in maintaining strong integrity," Mr Gachagua said.
Mr Gachagua empasised the joining of forces for leaders from Ukambani and Mount Kenya regions in an expanded Gikuyu Embu Meru and Akamba communities was game changer in Kenya's political equation in a very significant way.
He assured the Kamba community that their political game plan to make Dr Ruto a one term president was hinged on the strong numerical support they enjoyed countrywide, urging Kenyans to register en mass in order to have a say in the ballot.
Mr Muturi and former Agriculture cabinet secretary Mithika Linturi said it was turn of Eastern region to lead the country.
"This is our moment as Eastern block. We have our leader Kalonzo Musyoka set for the big contest and we will all throw our weight behind him" Mr Muturi said.
On the other hand, Mr Linturi the opposition coalition will stick together to ensure they form the next government.
The subtle coronation of Mr Musyoka as a possible candidate for the opposition coalition was buttressed by DAP Kenya party leader Eugene Wamalwa and People's Liberation Party leader Martha Karua, who said they had no choice but to rally behind one candidate.

Mr Musyoka said the Mashujaa Day celebrations to be presided in Kitui County by President Ruto was a symbolic gesture that State power will shift to the Eastern region in the next elections.
The Wiper leader urged his supporters to forget about the sacrifices he made in supporting Mr Odinga for three consecutive elections and remain focused on the main prize.
"For many years I have told you I have a chance at the presidency but it has never been more realistic than this time round, by virtue of the strong team we have assembled," he told the cheering crowd.
He said the three failed attempts at the presidency with Mr Odinga were a big lesson to him, which is why he decided to forge new alliances with leaders from Mount Kenya region.
The opposition said they will reverse the planned sale and privatisation of Kenya Pipeline Company once they assume the reins of power.
